BSNL's fiber broadband service, operating under the Bharat Fibre division, was introduced a couple of years ago, expanding the state-run telco's reach to every corner of the country. Today, we will explore BSNL's four fiber broadband plans available for under Rs 500.

Comprehensive List of BSNL's Fiber Broadband Plans Below Rs 500

The following four plans are currently offered by BSNL, all priced below Rs 500: the Rs 329, Rs 399, Rs 449, and Rs 499 plans. It's important to note that the inclusion of taxes in the final billing may push some plans slightly above Rs 500, but their base prices remain below the mentioned threshold.

BSNL Rs 329 Plan: Serving as the entry-level broadband plan, priced at Rs 329, this package offers customers speeds of up to 20 Mbps, 1TB of monthly data, and a fixed-line voice calling connection. After consuming 1TB of data, the speed decreases to 4 Mbps.

BSNL Rs 399 Plan: Priced at Rs 399, this broadband plan delivers speeds of up to 30 Mbps and provides customers with 1TB of data. After surpassing the 1TB limit, the speed reduces to 4 Mbps. This plan, according to BSNL's website, is exclusively available for individuals residing in rural areas.

BSNL Rs 449 Plan: Similar to the Rs 399 plan, the Rs 449 plan offers speeds of up to 30 Mbps. However, users receive a generous 3.3TB of monthly data, accompanied by a free voice calling connection. Once the data usage exceeds 3.3TB, the speed decreases to 4 Mbps.

BSNL Rs 499 Plan: Customers subscribing to BSNL's Rs 499 plan enjoy speeds of 40 Mbps, along with 3.3TB of monthly data (post FUP limit, speed is reduced to 4 Mbps). Additionally, this plan comes bundled with a free fixed-line voice calling connection.

It is important to keep in mind that all these plans are subject to an 18% GST on the final billing. Moreover, customers opting for the fixed-line voice calling connection will need to purchase the landline instrument separately.
